Robert Maxwell died in November 1991, fell off a boat and drowned, off the Canaries.

Seymour Epstein, at the time residing in Palm Beach Florida, died in December 1991, in Cleveland Ohio, in an accident.

They have been in a tiff for years now, you can tell by the body language that she despises him and does not respect him one iota, but she sure loves the power and she definitely loves the cash.

The fact that Melania hasn't seemingly gone to court to try and stop the publication is telling. They are suing Michael Wolff for $1 billion over similar "revelations" .El País wouldn't bother with a rehash of old stories that are alredy out there. The verification cost for a story involving a sitting First Lady, their legal team would have spent weeks vetting Amanda Ungaro. If she only had "stories," they would have passed. They are likely sitting on documentary evidence emails, photos, or travel log that haven't been seen in the US media. probably most people who associated with epstein are not guilty of anything.

he infiltrated elite circles, but they were actually leading normal lives, going to galas, normal stuff elites do. only a small subset was involved in the criminal stuff.

if he didn't lead a mostly normal life, everyone would be too suspicious of him. So I'm guessing 90% of the time he was just going to normal parties, business meetings, whatever.

Not everyone is bent and has criminal proclivities. He probably had to sniff those people out over an extended time and lure them somehow, but without all the other people catching on.
