Trump voters turn as energy bills explode in West Virginia

Can any of the genius leftists explain what Trump has to do with high electricity prices in WV?

Trump's drive to export increased volumes of LNG have depleted domestic supply, resulting in higher costs.

The AI and cloud computing data centres, welcomed by politicians supporting Trump, have meant demand outpaces supply, hence higher prices.

Trump's deregulation of the energy industry hasn't produced lower prices as expected.

Energy utilities often ask for rate increases in order to improve ageing infrastructure and deal with inclement weather. And guess what? These increases are approved by state commissions consisting of ex- industry lobbyists appointed since Trump's second term.

Again, I'll rely on my life's experiences, and you rely on MSM.

That might explain why you are unable to answer my repeated questions w.r.t what are your NON MSM sources!

You have none.

The major source of electric power in WV is coal. The issue is aging power plants and higher coal costs. They are now having to spend a significant amount of money on upgrading aging power plants and transmission lines. Which is passed on the end user.

West Virginia should turn to wind power, those high Appalachian mountains are very suitable for wind turbines.

Haven't had good fortune, just made a few good decisions, after lots of trial & error, and ALWAYS, lived within my means. Almost never (once/work truck) borrowed money for a depreciating product.

I wouldn't called 3 divorces & 30+ low paying, non career jobs fortunate. A basic, though good, high school education / diploma that prepared me to fill out an application for an unskilled job. Only my last job, @ 33 yrs old paid any decent money, and not till vested at 5 yr mark, so 8 yrs of OK income.

Use of a lot of common sense, even with all the alcohol & drug use, helped a wee bit. And zip for parental guidance.

Please tell me how your history enables you to comment on an area where you don't live, and/or have not been for many years.

If you are going to use AI, fine. However, I suggest you cross-check your information with several AI sources. It may surprise you how answers vary quantitatively.

again, as replied & ANSWERED, a few times to your silliness, asked and answered. As stated before, might want to stop asking me to repeat myself.

You have NEVER answered, with any SPECIFIC examples, of where you get your so called non MSM information from!

All you do is prevaricate with ambiguous nonsensical and evasive answers.

Even, if you have ever answered any of my questions previously (which you have NOT), why can you NEVER give a clear answer?

NOW is the time to provide the answer to my question so that both new readers and myself will be enlightened about those so called NON MSM sources that you claim to use!

Please give some precise examples of the sources of news that you use instead of what you call MSM.

PS: I am NOT asking for quotes, just the sources that you claim to use for YOUR so called facts!

It's interesting the most voracious anti Trump posters on this thread are a socialist Australian (Australia has the highest energy costs in the western world) and a socialist Brit (Britain has the second highest energy costs in the western world) .......... America still has cheap energy costs by comparison.

Fair comment as many yanks like to say the same about Russians and putin. In fact, all americans in Thailand should self deport and fight a Trump war

Australia's high energy costs originate from boot-licking conservative politicians who have sold our resources for peanuts.

We are the top exporter of LNG to Asia, with deals signed decades ago.

Thanks in advance for the "genius"...

AI:

Recently, fossil fuels have been totaling about 85% of energy sales in the US.

The current administration wants to burn fossil fuels (drill baby drill...).

And the same admin oppinion: PV and wind - thats something for loosers.

Correct?

Because we also benefit from their successes. You take the rough with the smooth.

Yeah, I knew it. You have nothing but angry blah blah, like that guy you secretly admire who heads the US government.
