Iran used Chinese spy satellite to target US bases

Featured Replies

Iran secretly acquired a Chinese spy satellite that gave the Islamic republic a powerful new capability to target US military bases across the Middle East during the recent war, according to a Financial Times investigation.

Leaked Iranian military documents show the satellite, known as TEE-01B, was acquired by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force in late 2024 after it was launched into space from China.

Time-stamped coordinate lists, satellite imagery and orbital analysis show that Iranian military commanders later tasked the satellite to monitor key US military sites. The images were taken in March before and after drone and missile strikes on those locations.

Why is that? Is nobody allowed to go against that US ruled by a dictator?

And about the bloody nose, i wouldn't underestimate a country with a population of 1.4 billion, and a lot of high tech

Theres quite a few 7 year olds in the Congo willing to endanger themselves for $1 a day so the Chinese can make disposable garbage for western consumers.

You mean disposable garbage like fighter jets and anti-missile systems? That's just two kinds of products at these substances are critical for.

China is at the moment the industrial powerhouse of the world..they manufacture just about everything

almost every other country has let their manufacturing capabilities decline EU/UK and US being prime examples, net zero high energy costs piles of red tape high taxes a workforce that were told they are

non 'essential' workers during the Covidiocy so decided they would just stop working..non essential anyway so what the heck right !..now the 'western' governments want them to go back to work and make bullets and bombs for wars in Ukraine/Russia and the middle east yet again good luck with that.

When were there free and fair elections under Trump? Last I remember is that there was an insurrection because he didn't agree with the result of a free and fair election

The height of mankinds technology was vacuum tubes. We put men on the moon in the 60s using 3 ton tube powered computers with the computing power of a modern doorbell. Still unable to replicate the achievement🤣

Dont think rare earths are the be all and end all.

Did he tell them to fight like hell? Oh dear, looks like someone believes the UK state propaganda outlet. And this is exactly why Trump is suing for 10 BILLION smackers, because low IQ punters swallow the propaganda and it hardwires their brains.

Check out this…

Russia already is the largest exporter to China, and given its dependence on the Chinese, I'd imagine that China would have first dibs on whatever oil Russia is currently selling elsewhere. Chinese support for Russia's war effort is critical.

Complete non-story to learn a spy satellite is used for spying.

Its an Iranian satellite. Spy satellites have been in use for ~60 years, so not even all that new.

Most Americans would consider Artemis as "American", despite a lot of it being comprised of the ESA's European Service Module (basically the power and propulsion part of the spacecraft) built in Bremen. I didn't see any headlines about American astronauts traveling around the moon in a German spaceship.

Predictably a bunch of old men have their knickers in a twist over this.

Did you read the whole story?

"Under the agreement, Emposat provides the IRGC with the software and ground network to run the satellite over its lifespan. These would send commands, receive telemetry and imagery, and allow the IRGC to direct the satellite’s operations from anywhere in the world.

“Iran’s satellite ground stations, which were hit in 2025 and 2026, can be hit very easily by missiles from a thousand miles away. You can’t just hit a Chinese ground station located in another country,” he added."

So you should feel grateful to SunnyinBangrak.

U.S. Defense.

That's a good one.

Who has attacked US soil since 1944 other than a few independent ragheads flying domestic cattle-class? 😂

Maybe that's why Hegseth prefers Dept of War? But whatever you want to call it, it pretty much grinds to a halt without rare earths.

The US just thinks it has the best military in the world. I'm sure Iran has some tricks up their caftans. Good to see a country standing up against the US world police. Even satellites!

BTW, has anybody seen Bibi lately? I think he left his buddy Donnie holding the fort.

Why do I feel you're talking about yourself here?

Iran used Chinese spy satellite to target US bases

So what. Allies support allies. Example:
Gulf States support US bases that were staging grounds for the unprovoked war of aggression by Israel/US on Iran.
China supports Iran (the victim of the unprovoked war of aggression) by providing satellite data to Iran for near real-time targeting.

Kudos to China.

By the way, China is well aware of the Congressional and Pentagon rhetoric that has been foreshadowing the US plans to provoke a hot-war with China by 2030. However, given the current state of military technology, the US military wouldn't last a week after it attacked the Chinese mainland. And unlike Iran, China has the capability of reaching the US homeland. That's called true deterrence. For instance, why doesn't the US attempt this nonsense with North Korea? Because the DPRK has nukes and ICBMs that can reach America.

China, Russia, Iran, the DPRK, and other members of the Global South are allies, and allies protect the interests of allies because its in their own interests to do so.

Why would China do that ? Xi is supposed to be Donalds best buddy , well

according to Trump 🤡 ,...shows how stupid he is ,trying to be a dictator

with real dictators ,like his other friends Putin, Kim , don't suppose he will

consider Orban to be his friend now that he lost...
