The democrats haven't learned a thing since Trump whupped them 2024. It would be awesome to have Rubio - Harris for presidential debate 2028

We have a very different perspective on what's good for the country and world, but I must say you come off as exceptionally unpleasant.

That would be....a slaughter. Ditto JD vs Harris. A Republican's dream either way.

Shapiro is the only one they need fear legitimately. He is rather moderate, intelligent, well spoken, etc. But his primary handicap is being a Jew. The Democrats in today's political climate will never let a Jew on the ticket.

That's incredibly bad news for the Democratic Party if all they can put forth is Harris, who has failed at just about everything she's ever attempted to do accomplish, and is deeply unpopular, deeply disliked and has shown herself to be a terrible candidate.

Newsom it's definitely a step up from Harris, but he also is deeply disliked in California, and I don't think he's electable. Shapiro and Beshear would likely have a better chance, but the latter has already said he's not interested. Wes Moore, Roy Cooper and Mark Kelly are potentials. Of that group I like Mark Kelly the best, and I think he would beat the very lowly, grossly incompetent and hugely unpopular JD Vance. Kelly is it true patriot and is a refreshing contrast to the fake patriot orange gorilla.

The Democratic party needs some fresh blood and Harris would be their demise. She is tone deaf, she does not connect with the people, and they desperately need to find an alternative.

Of course Vance is even worse, and nobody likes him, so that would give her a better shot, but still the Dems need to come up with something better.

Yeah good luck with that. More likely for another gain of fauci experiment getting ooooops "accisentally" released to get the DEI out of any debate. I mean, seriously, she couldnt win a debate with a 4 year old.

Maybe they could swap the debate for a hummer competition? She would ace that😅

That's his #2 handicap. #1 is being sane and rational. The people would vote for him (even as a Jew), but the Dem Elite won't support him. Not radical enough.

If you don't believe that, look at the 75% of registered Dems that favor voter ID, but the Dem Elite won't have it...

Historically primary polls this ridiculously early are indicative of nothing.

As far as Harris, if she's foolish enough to run, she won't be nominated.

I'll go even further. The democrats won't nominate ANY woman this time

Unfortunately Newsom who will run has a fair chance of being nominated.

Kelly is probably the democrat's strongest chance to win the general, but whether he's nominated or not would mean enough democrats decide to compromise based on that factor alone.

Rude to say but I think Shapiro is too Jewy to be nominated in today's very anti-Israel democratic party. Not that he is a Jew. That he is too Jewy. There's a difference.

Buttigeig widely regarded as their best communicator has a chance.

In my view and I'm hearing this more and more by credible pundits, the dark horse to watch is the governor of Illinois JB Pritzker.

It would be funny to see a JB vs. JD general election matchup but I don't think the maga fascist party will nominate Vance.

I think they'll pick DJTJ or Tucker.

Rubio is too much of a neocon to be nominated,

Most of the potential democratic contenders are highly intelligent.

I won't fall for your AOC troll bait.

On the maga fascist side Vance and Tucker are also highly intelligent though DJTJ is a total MORON.

In any case, it's not an IQ test.

Quite often voters want someone they can relate to as most voters aren't Mensa members.

Harris got a raw deal in the way she was nominated.

She had almost no time to run a campaign thanks to Joe Biden who set her up for that handicap.

The democrats had no time to run a real primary process in which case if she had been nominated that way she would have been a much stronger candidate.

But life and politics aren't fair.

Democrats don't give second chances for president.

She had her shot and even though it was a loaded against her shot, that's all she'll ever get.

On top of that there was her huge mistake of failing to distance herself from Biden. As acting VP that would have been hard, but it was necessary and she failed at that.

Makes no difference to Thai train prices.

So many pathetic excuses in this comment.

But but but but hahaha she lost because she is insufferable and couldn't even beat Trump.

The dems raised so much more money than Trumps campaign yet still couldn't beat the one who according to so many on here is a myriad of things.

Priceless. You can't make this shhhh up.

Stephen A Smith for democrat nomination 2028.

Had Harris had more time she'd have done worse. Had the elections been in September, she's have won.

How many times did Biden run?

She said she would do nothing different, and she chose Walz.

She could easily have distanced herself from Biden. Harris is not stupid, but I do not think she very bright, and she seems lazy, or dyslexic perhaps. She could not answer simple, softball questions from sycophants.

She out spent Trump over three to one. Think about that.

When her campaign first started she was doing scary good. But the more she talked the worse it was for her.

As flawed as she may be, she would have been a million times better than Trump.

You really shouldn't go there. One can learn a lot from reading what a person writes, and let's just say that it's abundantly clear you're not exactly PhD material.

Just a friendly piece of advise.thumbsup

For the rice leftists, for the rest of us, not so much.

What would she have done differently than Biden?

What would she have done differently than Trump?

Exactly. Heck, a platypus with ADHD would have done better. Just about anyone on the planet would have been a vast improvement.

"What would she have done differently than Biden?"

Nothing. President Biden was doing vastly better than Trump.

"What would she have done differently than Trump?"

Everything. A President Harris would have done better than Trump in every conceivable way.

You do realize there's a reason why Trump is the most unpopular president in history, right?thumbsup

The Democrats are not good for the country. They destroy everything they touch.

I was hoping it was going to be Eric Swalwell and Katie Porter 1 & 2 on the ticket, but Swalwell went under the bus when it looked like two Republicans have been 1 & 2 on California's governor primary.

California deserves Katie Porter. Vote Blue No Matter Who.
