Top half is the advice you ignored, and the bottom half, guess if you used a condom, could have avoided those.

They do have STD s in CA, so same advise applies.

I seem to remember a 'syphilis test' was once a requirement for a retirement visa, wasn't it? And maybe still is.?.. I always found that quite bizzare and remember thinking, is there an alternative visa I can apply for.!!!

I regrettably watched a bit of one of these "living in thailand 2 years" experts the other week.

"I paid 800 baht for my water pistol" he says. It was a bit more than I was hoping to pay but oh well.

Totally clueless in regard to most of the stuff they vlog about. No idea wtf is going on around them. Can barely grind out the word sawatdee without making others feel 2nd hand embarrassent. Knows nothing of the food or the culture or anything outside of Patong, Bkk, Pattaya.

Literally seems to be 100s of them all of a sudden.

Paddy Doyle & Mickey Stotch occasionally share a bit of wisdom, and something new. Aside from them, can't be bothered with TH expat vids.

Then you obviously didn't read Trink back in the day, as he regularly reported on cost/when/where Dinty Moore beef stew could be found on sale in Bkk.

Personally, find these YouTube videos by ex-pats and tourists alike, totally boring and repetitive. I no longer give a thubs up or subscribe to them. IMO they are a waste of time!

If you watch enough of the videos, you see how they film. I cant wait to get back and spy one filming and make his life miserable.
