I watch the Thermae and Nana tours by those dude with the recording glasses. Just to see how the babes are.

If you watch enough of the videos, you see how they film. I cant wait to get back and spy one filming and make his life miserable.

So you enjoy watching his content so you can see 'how the babes are' and in return, you want to make his life miserable...

More sour grapes from our skint Canadian who couldn't afford to stay in Thailand, and thinks that by making negative posts he gains popularity.

Perhaps it's your life that will be miserable ?

Yeah, when I point him out to the staff, they will throw me out LOL.

Clearly, your nasty response shows your life is miserable.

Yep. The NE Patriots used to cheat but I still watch the Super Bowl.

Filming where filming isnt permitted has a risk.

Life is a gamble. Ill yell " Choi doi khmoy khmoy" with a sucker punch, knowing full well all of my handshake taxi/tuk tuk friends will join in. Helps when you have been going to the same place for 30 plus years.

Then you obviously didn't read Trink back in the day, as he regularly reported on cost/when/where Dinty Moore beef stew could be found on sale in Bkk.

You are absolutely right. Ageing memory failed me. Well said.

No. Never.

It was elephantiasis.

It (a syphilis test) is however required for a work permit.

Correct.

Thailand work permit medical certificate is a mandatory document for non-BOI work permit applications, confirming the applicant is free from prohibited diseases, including leprosy, tuberculosis, drug addiction, alcoholism, elephantiasis, and tertiary syphilis.

Most are Doom & Gloom ... or ... OMG, and neither can enlighten me about anything TH.

Paddy Doyle & Mickey Stotch occasionally share a bit of wisdom, and something new. Aside from them, can't be bothered with TH expat vids.

Stotch likes Ban Krut. I went to the inland resort he stayed at and had lunch. It was nice but there are better options. Rooms are ok but no reason to stay there. Beachfront is best. He talked up Save One market in Korat, I went there and thought it was average.

Watched that vid and thought about popping in, just for a munch, as there seems to be a resident owl, that 'birding' thing I can't seem to shake 🙄

But agree, better option, and when near the surf, I want to actually stay surfside, out the door, on the sand for sunset/rise.

Thankfully Ban Krut is a daytrip for us now, and less than 1 hour away. Pop down every now & then for a munch. Or when returning from a southern O&A.

Was a regular 'holiday' stop when we lived at Udon Thani. If surf cooperating, no need to go any further, as one of, if not the cleanest Gulf beach.

Ban Krut doesn't have a proper city area like Prachuap or Chumphon so might as well stay on the beach. The beach is very good and restaurants line it. The weekend market in Prachuap is decent and the streets are fine for walking.
