And with the incentives, he built a profitable car company from nothing that employs tens of thousands of legal 'Muricans and they pay taxes.

Ford, GM and the others. Not so much. They pissed theirs away and still lost $billions, which they get to write off on their taxes. And laid off a bunch of 'Murican taxpayers in the deal. But I'll bet their directors still got bonuses...

I don't blame Musk for taking advantage of the incentives on offer. The idiots in this story are the politicians who implement them. Poorly. In Tesla's case, they'll be a net positive for the taxpayers in the long run. GM, Ford, Stellantis and the others... are a sinkhole. Bet'cha you can guess which party they each supported.
