Can't say I had a decent poured pint of Guinness in Bangkok yet. Even you tell them, they just nod and do not give a F.

Silom shenigans have not been bad, but depended how many people and if you know the staff or not.

Sorry to drag up the past but how are they cheating and what do they do wrong.

I like a punt of Guinness but am not an expert.

A decent Guinness is not just pulled fast like a normal pint. It should be poured in two steps. So when they rush it, skip the settling, or just fill it quick and hand it over, that is what I mean by cheating the pint.

A decent pint of Guinness can take close to two minutes if it is poured properly. That is why you often pay a bit extra for a genuine drafted Guinness, done the right way. If they rush it, the pint can taste more flat, thinner, and less creamy.

Again, you get what you pay for,
