Trump’s midnight post frenzy sparks alarm

Trump's impression of a transgender weightlifter

Donald Trump unleashed a late-night social media blitz that left critics openly questioning the president’s mental state after he fired off more than 55 posts in just three hours. The overnight barrage targeted perceived enemies, pushed inflammatory claims, and reignited debate over Trump’s behaviour as he continues to dominate the political spotlight.

The posting spree began at 10:15pm on Monday and continued until 1:13am Tuesday morning. That meant Donald Trump was posting roughly once every three minutes through the night.

The content swung wildly from politics to bizarre viral clips. Among the posts shared was one describing former president Barack Obama as a “demonic force”.

The online outburst quickly triggered alarm among Trump critics and political commentators. “Trump had one of his worst mental health episodes yet last night,” Sisson wrote to his hundreds of thousands of followers on X. “This man is clearly not well.”

The scale of the spree stunned even seasoned media figures. Former MSNBC journalist Mehdi Hasan questioned why such behaviour was not dominating headlines. “A previous president would have received wall to wall coverage for even one of these posts,” he wrote, accusing Trump of overwhelming public attention through sheer volume and controversy.

Others focused on the physical toll. Former Clinton administration operative Claude Taylor suggested the all-night posting marathon could leave Trump exhausted during public appearances. The comments followed footage from Monday showing Trump apparently dozing during a maternal healthcare event at the White House.

“What public events will Trump sleep through today?” Taylor posted online. Sports radio producer Roy Bellamy echoed the jibe, predicting the president would be “definitely napping” during press appearances.

Some observers linked the online eruption to wider political pressures. Journalist Mark Ames suggested Trump’s deeply unpopular war against Iran may be weighing heavily on him.

“Defeat in Iran + dementia doing wonders on what’s left of Trump’s brain,” Ames wrote in a sharply critical social media post.

The frenzy adds to growing scrutiny over Trump’s public conduct and online habits during his second term. Critics have repeatedly pointed to erratic messaging, marathon posting sessions and combative rhetoric as signs of instability.

At the same time, Trump remains one of the most dominant figures on social media, using overnight posts and rapid-fire messaging to seize news cycles and energise supporters.

But the latest episode has intensified questions over how such behaviour would have been treated under previous administrations. Critics argue Trump’s constant stream of controversy has normalised conduct that once would have sparked major political fallout.

With tensions rising over Iran and the White House facing mounting pressure, attention will now turn to whether Trump continues the aggressive online posting pattern—or doubles down further.

For now, the president’s midnight posting spree has once again thrust his behaviour, stamina and judgement into the centre of America’s political storm.

Marvellous to see the very same people, who for years lied and gaslit us about the obvious senility and corruption of 46, now being experts on detecting mental decline. Bravo Mr Trump for flushing these vile dishonest snakes out of the grass.

I've changed my mind on Trumps social media flurries. I used to find them inappropriate and embarrassing. After seeing how triggered lying wokies get over them, Im all for it now. Please Mr Trump wake up early and give these clowns both barrels every day.

That would be the cult that believes in human biology? That believes an open border is not a secure border? That wants photo ID to vote (just like for buying a pack of Luckies)? That believes big hairy dudes should not be in little girls bathrooms?

Does not sound too much like a cult to me.

I'm glad we have someone in there that can stay awake and work more than 2 or 3 hours a day.

The cult that believes Trump really did stop the Rwandan genocide in 1994, that he and his uncle discussed the Unibomber by name, that Trump is really 6'3" and 215 lbs and "the fittest President ever", that posting AI images of himself as Jesus, a guy with a machine gun which supposedly scares Iranians, that he has a "concept of a plan" to replace Obamacare---and it will be out in "two weeks", and hot tubbing in the Reflecting Pool with Vance, Rubio & some guy and gal, that storming the US Capitol and searching for the VP to hang him are pardonable offenses, that stealing highly classified documents and keeping them at his wedding planner facility is okay, and that trying to overthrow democracy is okay is you lose an election. Oh, and using your position for personal gain ($4 billion and counting since 20 January 2025) is acceptable behavior or that taking a 747 from a foreign government which he gets to keep after his term ends is okay.

The cult also believes Trump stopped the war between Cambodia and Armenia, Azerbaijan and Albania, and other "wars" that did not exist, and that pardoning a guy who laundered money for Hamas is okay so long as that guy does business with World Liberty Financial, plus blowing up Trinidad fishing boats is okay as is pardoning a guy who helped run 400 tonnes of cocaine into the US.

And there never was an open border, though there are strawberry picking jobs now available if you're in need of gainful employment.

You probably saw the White House official response to those images:

"He was blinking, you moron"

The video shows some of those "blinks" last ten minutes or more.

But "Sleepy Joe!!!!!!!"

But when you actually put yourself in his shoes - with all that's going on to be sending out so much nonsense in the middle of the night - if all you've got left is that it pleases you because it concerns normal people then it's a bit sad.

Obviously, Obama is still leaving rent free in his brain!

"The president shared a pro-Trump commentator’s social media post that featured a supposed attack on Obama from Republican Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana. But the “Kennedy” quote is completely imaginary." 🤣

"Trump shared a post – from an account using the name and image of the late John F. Kennedy Jr. – that said, “Barack Hussein Obama wiretapping Trump Tower during the 2016 election was a million times worse than anything Nixon did during Watergate. It is time to arrest the Renegade.” (“Renegade” is Obama’s Secret Service codename.)" 🤣

"During this posting spree, Trump also shared another false conspiracy post that included a link to a web page filled with lies about the Obama administration. These included false claims that former secretary of state Hillary Clinton had used her private email server to sell top-secret information to foreign entities, that Obama had ordered a coverup, and that nine of 13 New York police officers trying to expose the truth “committed suicide or died in suspicious circumstances.” For good measure, the page added a lie that Obama had a “Birth Certificate Scandal” proving he was never eligible to be president." 🤣

In wild late-night posting spree, Trump attacks Obama with imaginary quote and false conspiracy theories

Interesting. So, are we supposed to forget the sheer evil and epic dishonesty from the left over the last decade, and pretend they are serious players again? That would be very stupid, wouldnt it.

Im not surprised you want us all to forget about the lefts dire deeds, but no. We wont, sorry😆
