After watching this YouTube Video called .... 93 Year-Old Expat Living Alone in Thailand and My Friends Are All Gone . All I can say is, what an inspiration and a fantastic story. This man is a living legend . So what do you think about Bill's story .

I've beat him by 23 years ....... at age 70 all my friends here or in the UK are already dead.

I posted this last week.

Learned Thai whilst attending a Turkish language school🙄

He's 23 years older than me... I can only HOPE to have his mental and physical acuity when (IF?) I get there.

Top man 👍

What an exciting wonderful satisfied life. The video is a sentimental, emotional journey through a happy grandaddy's life. 💗

Thanks so much for sending this. He was my next door neighbour 23 years ago when I first came to Thailand.

Can anyone send me his email address?

If I live that long, I could only hope to be in as good physical and mental ability. I had previously watched on Youtube and found it interesting. I hope y case continues on a different path, having a Thai Wife and Stepdaughter doting on me. I was Executor for an Aussie friend aged 92 a couple of years ago. I would only encourage all of us aged western retirees in Thailand to have a legal Will and a trusted individual to carry out our wishes. It took some months but I was able, with the help of the Attorney who had drawn the Will, to see all "T"s crossed and "I"s dropped.

I am an 80-year-old widower and I pay a woman who is 50 years younger than me to take care of my essential needs.

Just one question, how do you pay for your medical insurance and how much, if any?

Excellent story from Bill. Thank you.

Similar to you at 75 (tho not a Brit), BUT my gripe is that, almost selectively, the ones who have died (mostly cancer or alcohol) were the really close mates and true friends in every sense of the word.

Meanwhile the "friends" and acquaintances who are still kicking are mostly "also rans", bores, tight asses, untravelled, opinionated, types.

Many still living close by (or in) the house where they grew up.

Just not fair !!

So your drunk friends died early. What a surprise!

A couple of them were, but one was a life long RAF and then airline pilot...not a p*sshead, another in aviation services, one a highly experienced geologist, and one an ex Guard (Grenadiers)

Cancer in its various forms was the main "killer".
