And that's exactly what people should do.

Not about to debate however what Thai immigration do by stapling whatever into pp is illegal.

It's a Thai habit.

So final statement... I have never ever had erroneous docs in my pp.

Never an issue in 15+ years.

Why have anything in your pp.

Not necessary

I agree.

I have a special pouch with my passport in it, the other paper eg the 90 day report receipt are in the same pouch but not in the passport as if it needs to be photocopied for any reason then the slips of paper can not be lost in the bank, so yo are right, don't let them near any documents they do not need.

If they do need any other documents for example in a bank I check and make sure I have received each one back before leaving.

Simple rules like that can save a lot of time and effort later on.

Because on the TM47 it states Keep in Passport So even though the TM47 says keep in passport, you're saying no need to?

Do you not take a smartphone photo of every new document and email it to yourself. Not difficult at all. Plus perhaps every 3 months take a series of photos of all such documents and email all of the

Not at all. What is silly is fact of suggesting TM30, TM47 or any other doc should be kept in your pp or even worse stapled.

If you are attending immigration for something such as COR or Extension etc then have those docs available to submit.

What is silly is here is someone telling and trying to convince others how to manage their tm30/47’s, small slips of paper that are easily paper clipped on the back side of the pp. If that is a personal problem for you then fine, no sense in digging in the defense of it which is kinda strange.

Mandatory?

The TM47 receipt does not need to be in passport.

Indeed it need to: "KEEP IN PASSPORT"...

Men taking matters into their own hands, disregarding not quite an 'order' but a command, or an instruction? A reach of an analogy. Attempting to bring some levity to the thread, maybe someone gets a chuckle, ha. (BTW, luv this movie!)

  • (Lt. Kendrick) "He disobeyed an order."

  • (Kaffee) "And because he did, because he exercised his own set of values, because he made a decision about the welfare of a Marine that was in conflict with an order of yours, he was punished. Is that right?"

  • (Lt. Kendrick) "Lance Corporal Dawson disobeyed an order."

  • (Kaffee) "Yeah, but it wasn't a real order, was it? After all, it's peace time. He wasn't being asked to secure a hill or advance on a beachhead. I mean, surely a Marine of Dawson's intelligence can be trusted to determine on his own which are the really important orders and which orders might, say, be morally questionable? Lieutenant Kendrick, can he? Can Dawson determine on his own which orders he's going to follow?"

  • (Lt. Kendrick) "No, he cannot."

. I put the passport away in a special pouch it always goes in that is zippered shut, failing to check if the loose pages were still there. This A.M. I was looking for a form, and all were gone.

Apart from the OP who has disappeared, do we know what exactly were all gone

I reckon it's time to close this thread due to the missing OP, hasn't appeared since posting.

Also what documents went missing, possible shopping list or perhaps things to do list.

The thread has now gone pear shaped

I have been at CW Imm. many moons ago and had unbeknownst to me lost either the TM7. or the 90 day receipt slip.

Either way I had to go to the nearest police station to report the loss; return to Imm. and pay a 2000 baht fine.

Did I miss something here? Isn't the TM7 an application for extension of stay that'll be stamped in the PP and 90 day report FOC?
