August 27, 200718 yr I've recently moved back to the UK and I'm putting new three pin plugs on my Thai appliances. There is a grey and a black wire. In the UK the black wire is normally neutral. But could someone confirm whether in Thailand it's the live wire and the grey wire is the neutral wire? Confused
August 28, 200718 yr It is probably best to assume that the colors have no meaning and are used at random. To be safe you should verify the use of each wire. chownah
