Iran Ceasefire On The Brink As US Hits water reservoirs

Iran Ceasefire On The Brink Following AH 64 Shootdown

AH 64.jpg

A fragile ceasefire between Washington and Tehran appeared close to collapse on Tuesday after US forces launched retaliatory strikes near the Strait of Hormuz following the reported downing of an American military helicopter.

The strikes, ordered after President Donald Trump accused Iran of shooting down a US aircraft on patrol over the strategic waterway, mark the most serious escalation in weeks and raise fears the region could slide back into full-scale conflict.

Iran Reports Water Facilities Hit

Iranian state media claimed two water reservoirs in the Bemani district near the Strait of Hormuz were among the sites struck during the operation.

Explosions were also reported on Qeshm Island, which sits astride one of the world's most important shipping lanes.

The reports could prove highly controversial if confirmed, as attacks on infrastructure linked to civilian services are likely to draw international scrutiny.

Trump Orders Response

US Central Command described the operation as a "proportional response" to what it called unjustified Iranian aggression.

Earlier, Trump said Iran had brought down an American helicopter operating near the Strait and warned that the United States "must, of necessity, respond."

Tehran Threatens Retaliation

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that Tehran would not allow the latest attack to go unanswered.

"Iranian military forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered," he declared, while warning foreign military forces operating near Iran's borders remained at risk.

Strait Of Hormuz Back In Focus

The latest exchange places renewed attention on the Strait of Hormuz, through which a huge share of global energy supplies move.

With Iran already exerting pressure on shipping routes and both sides exchanging strikes despite ceasefire talks, fears are growing that the conflict could once again threaten regional stability and global oil markets.

Another false flag from Trump. A state of the art Apache helicopters downed by an Iranian drone. Shot down over water so no pics of the wreckage, the 2 pilots unhurt and safe. So Trump has the right to Defend itself.

Yes and it invites responses from Iran like that on the gulf states and Israel. At this point if Trump is playing with wiping them out, doing a half assed job with that will make things worse. Trump clearly has no clue how to get out of this mess which he created. What an incompetent moron gambling with the well being of the world while obsessing about his ballroom and fascist style Arc de Trump.

If there are attacks on Iran's water supplies then the surrounding countries that harbour US or Israeli assets should expect the same in retaliation..the thing the war mongering bully-boy terrorists might want to consider before launching such attacks is that Iran is not dependant on desalination plants for its water supplies.

so you are alleging the incident didnt occur? Centcom is lying?

well they lied about the missile on the School attack and they lied about the damage to the American base where a very expensive aircraft was lost, and its looking more likely the supposedlly rescued pilot they found in the Mountains was a lie as no evidence has come out since so yes i believe this is a lie so Trump can break the ceasefire. Any wreckage filmed yet or the names of the pilots ?

Didn't you watch the movie "The Dam Busters", or watch any of the zillion documentaries celebrating the dam busters as heroes?

I wasn't in favor of a war with Iran. I'm still not sure. But they've been sponsoring attacks on the US and our allies for over 45 years. Maybe it is time for a regime change. Or they'll be sponsoring attacks on the US interests and our allies for another 50 years.

Besides, the only way there will be peace in the Middle East is regime change in Iran. Or if Israel gets wiped out, and that would just be a temporary reprieve before they start attacking other states in the region for religious reasons.

That Americans make movies patting themslves on the back for their own war crimes and atrocities is not a good argument that those were not, indeed, war crimes.

Boom its starting lol. I know you won't answer this but didn't the yanks go boom at the start nearly three Monhs ago, and the Iranians are still there still throwing missiles and drones, how the hell does a state of the Art attack helicopter took out by a cpl of thousand $ did they not see it in there wing mirrors.

The Dam Busters was a British project, and so were the movies and most of the documentaries.

As some people seem to have so much free time, a consultation of International Humanitarian Law may be helpful. Are all Iranians terrorists? If so, why did Trump support the large public demonstrations in Iran against the Iranian government? Do all Israelis support Bibi's Zionist genocide? In the last election just under 25% of the Israeli voters voted for Bibi's Zionist terrorists (Netanyahu's Likud Party was founded in 1973, arising from earlier Zionist groups dating back until at least the 1940; groups involved in terrorist activities, including the killing of British civilians (especially women and children) based in then Palestine).

Who has the cards now? it was peace imminent 48hrs ago Don' Don'🤔

Maybe the AH 64 got the same treatment as the USS Liberty ?
