Plezy replaces both Plex and Jellyfin frontends (you still use their servers).

use the 32 bit apk for Google/Android TV, and the 64bit apk for your smart phone.

Works really well after the first login (which needs a few tries).

Now my NAS can keep serving my movies and TV shows without all the hanging around waiting for the client to load properly.
