It's being reported that historic Grooming gang incidents are to be re-opened called Operation Beaconpoint. The NCA National Crime Agency will be looking into these cases but only from 2010 onwards as there only looking into crimes where the groomers are still alive. Since the police will be looking into the conduct of serving officers implicated in aiding the gangs there is little chance of any arrests and the enquiry will go the same as all the others with delay's and hidden evidence they uncover being reported. Barroness Case's report was damming but little was done about what she uncovered or it was covered up in 2025.
