How to increase my energy levels?

Featured Replies

You say you have 10kg too many. Think about it like going around with a carry-on luggage on your back all the time. Shedding that would be ideal. Easier said than done I agree.

No no no, do not do this. Force yourself to be active, get up and keep active regularly, if only for short walks around the house every 20 minutes (minimum)

Correction - I am active! I walk at least 5km every day to keep my lungs clear. But once I get home, I am exhausted!

The human body is complex, a chemical factory with many processes.

If you have a flaw in it , you get medicine. Working maybe good for the error, but always has side effects. No clue what kind of medicines you have.

A doctor just gives you the candy and never speaks about it, but then you read about it and your mind setting is going down. So I know and try to fight the knowledge I now have, however cant reject all. There are some really troubling issues with my medicines if process go wrong.

However you are getting older as wel. And everybody is unique.

Not long ago, they find out, women are totally different then men, though we have a lot in common as in organs and working principles.

The strongest instrument is your brain ! You can change mindsets.

Fi you lie down now in the way you feel. I know all not easy, I also ignore things , I should do but dont.

Only if I really put on another mindset, it changes. Just force.

You do your 5 km walk ! You force yourself to do it ! Maybe then lie down, ok but instead of all afternoon, short it to an hour and force yourself out and do something else.

In Thailand after a cold shower, I stand naked in front of a running fan ! leftover water (filmlayer) evaporates and cools you down. After that I really feel "reborn". Well thats for me personal.

Once I tried and made me feel real good, so now do all the time. It works for me. Positive mindset.

As advised maybe do 2 times walking and half the distance?

As I said, I know, not easy when you are running in a different mode.

Your brain can be your friend, but also your enemy.

i saw the norwegian princess underwent a lung transplant

The usual hokus pokus. The desease the OP descibes, including COPD in incurable. It can only get gradually worse. More "exercise" is of no interest to a deseased lung.

Only proven fact: Due to the diminished usable oxygen, red blood cells that transport oxygen will increase (becoming more numerous). Like those folks in the Andes that live above 4000 meters above sea levels. The only way nature has found, to compensate for "naturally reduced oxygen availability". If that wasn't so, half of the Peruvian population would be walking around with oxygen flasks in their backpack.

Conclusion: We will eventually die of something.

True, but happily for me, Bronchiectasis is incurable but (unlike COPD) does not have to get worse, so long as I keep my lungs as healthy as possible (lots of lung exercise etc) :)

Boost your vitamin D levels with 5/6000 + IU daily (combined with 100mcg vit K2 to direct calcium produced appropriately). This will boost your natural immunity and general health. Vitamin D levels should be between 50 and 100 ng/ml. Even higher if you are not in good general health. You can get your vitamin D tested at a government hospital for 900 THB, or at least I can at my local hospital. It can be a lot more expensive elsewhere. It takes a couple of weeks to boost your immunity and general health. No harmful side effects. Hope this helps. Good luck!

The "escimos" the "inuvit" live in an environement with little sunshine. Actually 6 months of the year of the year. No solar vitamin D. Their "prey" must supply them with vitamin D, in form of seals or other living things. Otherwise "Inuits" (the eskimoes) wiold have died out a long time ago due to the lack of vitamin D.

I've often wondered how they coped.
