I think that there will be "mid-terms". To simply not hold them would prove to be a rupture of the constitutional provision too great for even Trump to get away with.

They will be surrounded by allegations of fraud and cheating, and endless legal moves through succesively senior courts. Mr Squeaker Johnson will play a vital role here, refusing to swear in elected members whilst the cases are progressing through the courts.
