You could save yourself a fortune by just staying home. Everywhere you go seems to be full of people you don’t like.

Israeli families are lots of fun to hang with, talking about our two different cultures. The young ones, not so much. They've all just got out of the IDF, who knows what trauma they've suffered. They're ready to party so don't get in their way!

I think Pai is super and the road to Mae Hong Son amazing. Personally, I like to stay in the hotspring resorts, look out at the mountain scenery, particularly when the Thai sakura are in bloom.

Pai itself is great for restaurants, though. I'm veg so I hope there might be Israeli felafels these days.

Yeah hot springs are great

I was thinking of going to Chiang Mai and PAI on my next trip

However watching YouTube videos I have come to the conclusion that the Israeli people are apparently very rude , obnoxious and abusive.

I have no idea ,I haven't met any in person

I gather they talk with accents ?

Are these the young ones ?

What is their rudeness to ?

.look it's not only Israeli,

I also avoid anywhere there is Australian people, that's why I stay away from Bali the drunken bogans .

As soon as I see the tattooed Aussie bogans I'm out of there

I once went into a Australian type bar in Pattaya to see sour faces and angry looks all from Australian people all low class bogans, swearing , looking for trouble

These Australian people are aggressive,no sense of humour people

You can walk into a British or a Irish bar and they are all laughing and making jokes but you walk into a Aussie bar to receive aggressive looks

Could we get back to Israeli people

please ,

I haven't come across them , what is the problem ?

Oh please there's no need for racism we need to discuss this dynamic topic in an academic way

I’ve visited Bali and met Australians without any issues. Why is it so fashionable for people to criticize their own? Is it an inferiority or superiority complex?

Since when does he own strangers with the same colour passport? Just weird to think all people from the same area have the same values.

Unless of course they play catcher on the same team. Then it might be a bit different. Just sayin...

I don't like accusations. Some are made of me. I would only engage any IDF in conversation as far as they wanted to go. But I have clearly stated my opinions on Israel's wars to four young IDFers. One agreed with me that Israel had gone to far. The other three were noncommittal but glad it was over for them. 2 women, 2 men.

Not everybody's got the syndrome, Yag. We can talk it out. It's called diplomacy. Finding out what people are really about. I care.

I prefer the Pattaya Hilton where I can mix with the upper class Australians and have intelligent conversation

I go regularly to the rooftop bar with the girlfriend, we keep to ourselves.

If you visit these type of public places, take a chick with you, keep to yourselves, avoid interacting with others. Using these tactics you will never come across any rude people.

It may be you, making conversation, staring etc, with unknown people, most don't like to be bothered, perhaps it's the reason you find these, as you say....rude people.

Not an issue, we have plenty of experienced sailors arriving daily in rubber dinghies......ideal cannon fodder........

"What nationality is rude?"

There are morons from all nationalities and there are decent and good people of all nationalities... focus on the individual, not some sweeping generalisation or stereotypes. However, go to Chang Mai and see for yourself, but don't forget your clipboard, pen, saftey helmet, and high-vis jacket... then get back to us with a report.

I had to look that one up. Funny, although I love salads myself..................A "salad-dodging yank" is a derogatory British slang term used to describe a heavyset or obese American. It is a combination of two insults:

  • Salad-dodger: British slang for someone who avoids eating healthy greens or vegetables.

  • For those also not aware.

Soap dodger is slang for Brit. Salad dodger is not a common saying but maybe in future.

As you joined yesterday and don't seem to understand why Richard Smith and I wrote this you would be excused.

Not excused is your tone. You are kindly requested to change that.
