I was thinking of going to Chiang Mai and PAI on my next trip

However watching YouTube videos I have come to the conclusion that the Israeli people are apparently very rude , obnoxious and abusive.

I have no idea ,I haven't met any in person

I gather they talk with accents ?

Are these the young ones ?

What is their rudeness to ?

.look it's not only Israeli,

I also avoid anywhere there is Australian people,that's why I stay away from Bali the drunken bogans .

As soon as I see the tattooed Aussie bogans I'm out of there

I once went into a Australian type bar in Pattaya to see sour faces and angry looks all from Australian people all low class bogans, swearing , looking for trouble

These Australian people are aggressive,no sense of humour people

You can walk into a British or a Irish bar and they are all laughing and making jokes but you walk into a Aussie bar to receive aggressive looks

Could we get back to Israeli people

You could save yourself a fortune by just staying home. Everywhere you go seems to be full of people you don’t like.

I've generally found that people treat me about on par with how I treat them.

Wherever you go, there you are.

Of course, I run into a knothead once in awhile. But if I run into 2 knotheads in a row, I have to look at my own behavior.

i will say that viewing things as an american, i find israelis and french act similarly annoying in many ways, arabs too. but nothing beats the mainland chineses for sheer nasty tantrum rudeness

I've been to Pai numerous times and used to live in Chiang Mai. If there was an Israel invasion, I missed it. Unless someone is wearing an kippah walking down the street, I've be hard pressed to point out an Israeli or Jew out of a crowd of farangs. I think you think too much.

Israeli families are lots of fun to hang with, talking about our two different cultures. The young ones, not so much. They've all just got out of the IDF, who knows what trauma they've suffered. They're ready to party so don't get in their way!

I think Pai is super and the road to Mae Hong Son amazing. Personally, I like to stay in the hotspring resorts, look out at the mountain scenery, particularly when the Thai sakura are in bloom.

Pai itself is great for restaurants, though. I'm veg so I hope there might be Israeli felafels these days.

Stay away from Bangkok too....

.....heavily congested, so many deadly pollutants in the air, hellishly over priced, terrible monsoon weather flooding daily, rip off taxi's, nothing original just an overcrowded concrete jungle, no decent places to eat, unavailable pavements, rude TukTuk drivers, aggressive street-hawkers and shop assistances, unruly and impolite expats and unfriendly locals.

How about Cambodia?

Vietnam maybe?

Both must be heaven on earth right now.

Or Malaysia - very safe and clean too.
