How much game is having enough game?

As my other topic about a girl and her phone began shifting more toward a topic of gym culture and fitness, I thought I’d share these thoughts on personal positivity.

This guy on the link below is nearly 60 years old, and he’s jacked. He’s not huge, but because he’s built a solid amount of very lean muscle, it helps make him appear even bigger than he actually is. Sure, he’s probably had a little help from Vitamin T, but that’s not his secret. The secret is far less thrilling and it's mainly about consistency, above all else. He’s now enjoying the rewards of years of discipline and sacrifice. There are no shortcuts, no magic, and nobody handed him a free ride. He’s earned every bit of it through hard work, but the truth is that the same is achievable for everyone.

I follow multiple people like him online who are in exceptional shape into their 50s, 60s, and even 70s because watching their success inspires me. If we want to live strong, healthy lives with good functional strength, these are the people we should be paying attention to. Don’t focus on the other 98 percent of people in those age groups who are out of shape. If all you ever look at are people making poor choices, you’ll unconsciously normalize those choices. But if you constantly expose yourself to people who are winning the game, you’re far more likely to adopt their habits and move closer to their results instead of ending up like the other 98 percent.

And I don’t just mean fitness. Whatever you want to achieve in life, spend your time studying people who have already achieved the goals you’re chasing. Watch what they do, learn how they think, and model the habits that got them there. You’ll be surprised how much your own results quickly improve when you stop paying attention to average and start focusing on excellence. It’s a simple formula, and it’s a shame more people simply don’t follow it.

What rewards does he get? He looks like a roid rat.

All dreamy stuff. We can't all win the US Masters. Better to enjoy life than copy roid rats or guys who run 200km. I read the book of David Goggins but all he does is exercise. What a boring life.
