What do we all really need?

Featured Replies

For me, it's the love and companionship of a partner. My spouse and I just finished building a large 5-bedroom pool villa in the Lake Mabprachan area of Pattaya and we have been busy moving in all this week. I'm sure we will be happy living here and we will enjoy this home that we have made for ourselves, which has guest bedrooms for family to use when they visit.

We have been in Pattaya since 2010. When we arrived, we had limited funds and for a number of years we lived in much smaller accommodations, including several View Talay 48 sqm studio condos. I was happy and content wherever we found ourselves, in USA or Thailand, in studio or larger homes, because I had a partner with me for the ride.

Taoists say, 'Own nothing, and be owned by nothing.' Difficult to do and still live within modern society, but with understanding, it IS possible to come close. 'Own' doesn't have to mean 'possess.'
