Also had my drink spiked at a bar in nana plaza, cant remember getting to my hotel but woke up in time to find girl trying to get away with my wallet. She didnt leave quietly but flew out the door after i gave her a hand , and called reception.

Are you sure that was a girl? Sounds more like a ladyboy. (not taking the p*** - it just does)

Well the news report that 3 had died down in Phuket was false and it was actually one of the group.

But 3 others went into comma, and there's the case of the guy (westerner) who died in Bangkok soi 7/1 - so that makes 3 dead and 3 in coma from substances (supposedly) in three provinces within a pretty short period of time. I've heard a lot of bad news over the years (Pattaya flying club, jealous bf/husband, robbery, other stupid ways to die) but a series of drink-spiking (supposedly) deaths is new.

I doubt anyone messed with the Indian guy's drink. His poor family and friends will be shocked and suffer a great sense of loss.

A manager of Pattaya's oldest gogo bar hit a dog on his motorbike on the way to work. Felt ok so carried on and died at work that day.

Hit the dog, then wiped out and hit his head on the ground?

The article does mention the Indian man had a head contusion, speculation; maybe he went off the back of a motorbike, or just fell down super drunk, hit his head, thought he was o.k. but wasn't.

That was it. Sorry for my poor description of events. He went off the bike, hit his head, then carried on to work without seeking medical treatment, dying a while later at work. A friend of mine frequented that establishment and said that the deceased was a very decent, well liked fellow.

Really sorry to hear that. I myself suffered a serious head injury as a youth. Had not for paramedics packing my head in ice, and getting me to the hospital my brain would have swelled threw the crack in my skull. Not good.

Poor guy. Maybe drank to excess and his body just wasn't used to it. Imagine his family receiving this tragic news back home. My heart goes out to them, they must be completely devastated.

A little bit off topic but when you mentioned the shock of his family back home it makes me think of the shock some families get when the farang pops his clogs in Thailand but but he can't my husband is off golfing in Spain

He could have passed out for any number of reasons and hit his head after the fall? Such a shame.

30s is too soon. Dying in your 30's is tragic. As is the 40s

Sympathy dissapates from there. 50s is such a shame

60s is too soon

70s a good run

80s a life well lived

90s - a fricking hell of a ride

Why stop at 90's? !!
