As I said, I met her once. I used to do a bit of part time taxi driving and once drove her from a gig at Bath to a hotel in Bristol. She was chatty, and we talked about politics, Catholicism and many things. She knew Bath as she had been at boarding school there. As we came off the roundabout at the end of the Keynsham bypass some boy racer in a little hatchback cut us up. She swore (!) and said something about young hooligans needing a sharp lesson. I said something like"steady on, you're not in the Home Office now", she gave me long hard look, and burst out laughing ! I liked her, you always knew where she stood. She was honest and had principles. God rest her soul. She is probably giving him a hard time!
