And for (very) frequent travelers certain credit cards offer heaps of advantages!

Amex is rather famous for that, going from free worldwide lounge access at airports, being able to book hotels through their platform with lots of advantages (free room upgrades, spending credit in the hotel, ...), very extensive travel insurance, automatically being made member (often at high level) of the bigger hotelchains and car rental companies, again offering some decent advantages.

Those cards come at a steep yearly price but for a (relatively) small group of customers such as people non stop traveling for business, it can be more then worth the money!

I'm sure Thai Banks do offer their own cards aimed at specific types of customers!

You also often see some serious advantages when shopping in Thailand with Thai based credit cards, just look at all the signs in the major shopping centers...
