Epstein-linked modelling scout found dead in Paris

A modelling scout whose name appeared extensively in files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead at his home near Paris, as French authorities investigate the circumstances of his death.

Daniel Siad, 69, was discovered on Monday in Colombes, north-west of the French capital. Prosecutors have opened an inquiry to establish the cause of death, with a post-mortem examination now due.

Death Comes Amid Ongoing Investigation

The Nanterre prosecutor's office confirmed an investigation had been launched on Monday evening but released no further details about the circumstances surrounding Siad's death.

Siad had recently become the subject of several complaints in France, including allegations of rape, although he had not been charged. His lawyer, Ménya Arab-Tigrine, said he had always denied wrongdoing and stressed that he had "never been prosecuted".

Epstein Links Under Fresh Scrutiny

Siad's name appeared thousands of times in documents released by the US government relating to Epstein. One of Epstein's alleged victims previously told the BBC that Siad had introduced her to the disgraced financier, describing the encounter as "a complete set-up".

Siad consistently denied knowing about Epstein's abuse. In a recent CNN interview, he said he believed Epstein was a legitimate professional and insisted he had no knowledge of criminal activity. He also denied allegations of rape in separate interviews with French media.

Victims Say Justice Has Been Lost

Lawyers representing women who filed complaints against Siad said they were shocked by his death, arguing it had denied alleged victims the opportunity to see the case tested in court.

Several legal representatives criticised the pace of the French investigation, claiming delays meant Siad died before he could be questioned by investigators. One former model who gave evidence said any information he possessed about Epstein's network may now be lost.

Echoes of Earlier Epstein Case

The death inevitably draws comparisons with French modelling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, another Epstein associate who was found hanged in a Paris prison cell in 2022 while under investigation over allegations involving the trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors. Brunel denied wrongdoing before his death.

Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, leaving many investigations into his associates continuing on both sides of the Atlantic.

Oops. Perhaps he knew too much about Trump's moral failings and underaged predilections?

Let's make sure he never speaks out. Lets cover our filthy tracks.

Another victim of Pattaya love triangle. Nothing to see here

You voted liberal but hate the Democrats.

You should do a better job at lying, you are almost as bad a liar as your cult master

Now you're accusing me of lying. Maybe there was a good reason i voted liberal. Maybe you are making assumptions that have no merit.

Pathetic.

Another material witness shows up dead.

Who might have the means and motives to ensure that happens?

off topic and replies all removed.

Democrats are scum.

Hey! "Scum" ! That's one of your messiah's favorite words. He used it repeatedly in his Q&A sitting with Rutte (the guy with the slight smirk listening to Trump make a fool of himself, dissing Spain and The Islamic Republic of Japan). Trump ended one of his rants with the question back to a reporter: "Do you know what scum is?"

Jokesters played Trump's comment, following it up with, "Yes, it's that stuff covering your Reflecting Pool disaster".

Now I understand why fascist MAGAs might hate Democrats. Going all the way back to the original old style, pre-fascist Republican---Abraham Lincoln---not a single Republican President has ever NOT presided over the start of a Recession. I guess it's envy, when fascist MAGAs diss Dems. Under Dems economic growth has averaged considerably better than under both old and new style Republicans. Employment has been better, too. And deficits have been less on balance.

Dems also seem to have a better understanding of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Lately, fascist MAGAs have taken aim at the inherent rights put first in the Constitution by the Founders. MAGAs hate free speech and a free press. MAGAs now under the Trump/Miller regime even hate habeas corpus. Under Dems, the Dept of Justice was just that, and despite being under the Executive Branch, remained independent. Under Trump---whose giant banner, for some reason, hangs on the supposedly independent Dept---is now the Dept of Coverup and Retribution. The first part of that is relevant to this thread, as Bondi/Blanche/Patel et al have bent over backwards defying orders to release the Epstein Files. In an absolute absurdity, BLanche lies that the snail pac of release is done "in order to protect the victims", when under his auspices nude photos of the underage victims, as well as their names, were released.

Oh, and these new fascist MAGAs want an autocrat, eschewing the "separate and equal" foundation of the 3 branches. Trump cannot seem to fathom that the Founders made Article 1 about the Legislature, and for good reason coming from a monarchy. Trump likes to claim the Article 2 (note 1 comes before 2) lets him, "Do anything I want". I guess that means, inter alia, exploit the office for the financial benefit of himself and his family. Apparently letting your kids make billions via obvious and repeated corruption and inside dealing in what Republicans refer to as "Family Values". How very quaint!

This made me laugh. Who was trying to regulated "disinformation"? Who believes the bill of rights are individual rights except the 2nd Amendment?

good riddance another frog pedo recruiter

What a disjoined word salad. If you want to debate the three branches of government and the separation of powers, I'd love to debate this topic with you. If you paid any attention to this topic you would know that congress has been passing power to the executive branchy for sometime now it took off under FDR.

Ah, the old 2nd Amendment silliness. I understand fascists think the Founders only wrote a single Amendment.

So being able to possess an A-10 Warthog with a GAU8 cannon that fires depleted uranium bullets was something guaranteed by the Founders for home defense a hundred thirty or so years before even powered flight, never mind weapons like the GAU8?

Dems overall have not tried to obviate the 2nd Amendment. Instead, they use realism and note that the Founders, familiar with muskets at best, had no idea bazookas or Thompson submachine guns were someday coming.

Rational people put restrictions of the weapons allowed into the general public. You can have semi-auto handguns. I have many myself, as I was trained to use and sometimes carry in one career I had. I cannot, however, just go to Walmart and buy an M-16 (though I can get very close with an AR-15). Oddly, I can get a Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle, with a round that hits with more power at 2000 yds than Dirty Harry's .44 Magnum hits point blank. That Barrett is neither a hunting rifle nor useful for home defense, but plop down about $12K, and it's yours. Neither can I get that A-10 Warthog. Musk, Bezos, etc. could commission their own carrier group, even a Trident sub with multiple warhead nukes....but that is not allowed, despite the Second Amendment.

It's so funny MAGAs die on the hill for the Second, ignoring the multiple and repeated attacks on the First Amendment, as if their AR-15 could make them safe from A Dem Administration with, inter alia, A-10 Warthogs. Go get'em Rambo! Yes, in MAGAstan, a fascist dictatorial government is okay, so long as they can have an AR-15 that fires a 5.56 NATO round or a .223 round with a muzzle velocity of 3200 fps.

So facts = word salad. Okay, MAGA boy.

I was curious where where your "facts" after your one liner re Dem and scum.

Most people think the stuff spewing from Trump's ever-gaping maw is a better example of word salad.

Enjoy your covfefe, sinking electric boats in shark-filled waters, Arnold Palmer's junk, the Islamic Republic of Japan, the horrendous war between Cambodia and Armenia, or Azer-something and Albania, and just be thankful Trump put an end to that 1994 Rwandan Genocide, as he claimed during a presser after a visit to the UK.

So what?

Daniel Siad just wrote emails to Epstein.

Describing girls by their ages and nationalities.

Then offered to send Uncle Jeff photos.

Is that supposed to be a crime or something? 😄

so very hilarious Uncle Jeffrey

Just checked into the thread to see if any of AN's most hard core conspiracy theorists have made an appearance and wasn't disappointed. Many 69 year olds, material witness or not, "just show up dead."

One could wait for the results of the French investigation before engaging in conspiratorial speculation.
