I speak Thai and read body language well. Being friendly and flirting are two different things.

Women give significant tells in the body language. Their is a female host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire that gives the answer away with her eyes. Surprised nobody has noticed but the show is pre recorded by months and getting on the show is hard.

The other factor is country women are more likely to date farangs. Bangkok Thais are less friendly and less open to it.

If I want to believe, I also get smiles and friendly body language from kind women back in Norway that could be taken as an invitation. Flirting happens all over the world, but in Thailand it is more often genuine than back home, where many women are simply being friendly, even toward older men. I think I would get a harsh reality check if I followed up what I thought was an invitation here instead of in Thailand. Still, it is nice to feel seen and appreciated. It is a boost for the ego and self confidence.

I'm here to discuss Thailand on a Thai forum. Discussing the differences between Thailand and the west is interesting to me and gives me a dopamine hit.

The word is analyse. Saying cliches like "digging a hole" on a computer screen is a defense mechanism to protect your ego.

You should go read some books on human behaviour instead of blaming people online for your own flaws.
