The USA has carried out killings directly, through its allies, and by supporting groups to do the job for them. This included Afghan warlords and mujahideen, some of whom later joined or supported the Taliban. It has also invaded and intervened in countries based on false or manipulated evidence, and I could continue. Long live hypocrisy.

Think I've gotten every income tax $$$ back, and then some. Been collecting SS for 25+ yrs. In today's dollars ($2425 a month), that's ~$700k. Pretty sure that 2-4% SS tax wasn't that much. Only got hit 2X hard, when I popped into the 1% er backets, and lied through my teeth and got it down to about 30% hit instead of 37% at the time.

Which is kind of amazing, as both times I was living in TH, with little to no deductions, since not owning house, interest, health ins. or claiming much of anything.

Rest of the 20 years of filing, I be one of them poor folk, paying minimal taxes. Cash receipts are a beautiful thing 🤣

Since Trump started calling him Little Marco I don't think anyone can respect him much. To have someone take the mickey then sucking up to him shows he doesn't have any self respect. Why should anyone trust him?

High price to whom? In Iran, women are treated as chattel. Their purpose is to serve men and to produce new iranians to populate the army of jihadis. Neither Trump, his advisors, the US media, or Western plebeians have a clue as to what drives Iran and why they are winning. Kill their leader, his granddaughter, and 168 school children, and you wonder why 15 million people showed up on the streets of Iran to mourn. Ya'll do get and never will. America and the US Army in General has become the laughing stock within the international community all over the world. Never will be said enough that today, swarms of cheap home made drones and hidden military logistics in mountains can beat any army, including the so-called, number one power of the world. But the main point is that americans and the rest of the world will not forgive America for having caused such inflation and increases in prices...not to mention the despicable customs tariffs Trump has tried to force in. More and more people will turn to trade rather with Russia, India, China and other BRICS+ nations instead.
