Rayong shop reports customer over defecating in fitting room

Featured Replies

A clothing shop in Rayong has reported a customer to police after she allegedly defecated in a fitting room and left behind her trousers, according to staff and the shop owner.

The incident happened on July 21 at a shop on Sukhumvit Road in Ban Chang district. The owner said the woman has until the end of next week to contact the business voluntarily, after which legal action may be pursued using CCTV footage.

Customer asked to use the toilet

Shop assistant Joom, 49, told reporters that the customer arrived at about 3.20pm in a dark blue sedan. She was wearing a black T-shirt and white trousers.

The woman entered the shop and loudly asked to use a toilet, Joom said. Joom added that she believed the customer appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, although this has not been confirmed.

Joom said she directed the woman to the shop's bathroom. However, the customer reportedly took a pair of shorts from a display rack and went into a fitting room instead.

After she left the premises, staff noticed a strong smell coming from the changing area. Joom said she went inside and found faeces on the floor, along with the woman's trousers.

She photographed the registration plate of the sedan before contacting the shop owner.

Shop staff cleaned the room

Employees cleaned the fitting room themselves, according to Joom, who described the experience as distressing. She urged people facing a medical emergency to tell staff, saying employees were prepared to help customers when needed.

The owner later gave Joom 500 baht as a gesture of appreciation. She subsequently filed a police report and said she hoped the customer would accept responsibility before court action became necessary.

The shop owner has said CCTV footage will be used as evidence if the woman does not come forward.

Shoutout to Joom for cleaning that up. That 500 baht bonus was definitely earned the hard way.

Hahahaha, when you gotta go. Any cider drinker will resonate with this story. Trying to get your key in the door is usually when it happens. Before you ask,the answer is yes.

Sounds like she had done the business before entering the changing room!

Something stinks about this story,

You think changing room and toilet are connected?

I don't think so

Reminds me of a joke going around on Facebook about someone's husband being banned from a store for 'causing unrest'. One of the things he did was go into a changing booth and then yell, "Hey, there's no toilet paper in here".

Here's one of the versions of the FB tale I referred to above. My kind of humour. Posted by a site oddly called Obituaries.

After I retired, my wife insisted that I join her on her trips to the local grocery store. Unfortunately, like many men, I found shopping tedious and preferred to get in and out quickly. On the other hand, my wife enjoys taking her time to browse. Yesterday, she received the following letter from the store manager:

Dear Mrs. Johnson,

Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a disruption in our store. We can no longer tolerate this behavior and have regrettably banned both of you from shopping here. Below are the documented incidents involving your husband, Mr. Johnson, captured by our surveillance cameras:

June 15: He placed 24 boxes of condoms into random people's carts when they weren't looking.

July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at five-minute intervals.

July 7: Created a trail of tomato juice leading to the women's restroom.

July 19: Approached an employee and said in a serious tone, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.' This caused the employee to abandon her post, resulting in a reprimand from her supervisor, and eventually a union grievance that wasted company time and resources. There is no Code 3.

August 4: Went to the Service Desk and attempted to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway.

August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told children he would invite them in if they brought pillows and blankets from the bedding section. Twenty children obliged.

August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him, he began crying and yelled, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' EMTs were called.

September 4: Looked directly into the security camera and used it as a mirror to pick his nose.

September 10: While examining guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

October 3: Moved suspiciously around the store while loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna Look' using various sizes of funnels.

October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!' whenever someone browsed.

October 22: Upon hearing an announcement over the loudspeaker, he assumed the fetal position and screamed, 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!'

Took a box of condoms to the cashier and asked where the fitting room was. And finally:

October 23: Entered a fitting room, closed the door, waited a few minutes, then shouted loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here!' One of our clerks fainted.

Respectfully,

The woman was probably having a crap day and the out come was a stinker for the shop employees who had to clean the mess up 😱

An example of a young, narcissistic, entitled, hi-so Thai of the female variety. Well done Joom for reporting to the police. The loss of face in front of her family and friends will far exceed the cost of punitory fines. Daddy needs to cut off her credit card privileges.

But such a shame they can't deport her !!!!

mmm...Probably had a "shart" (<deleted>-fart) in the car earlier, hence the trouser grabbing beforehand

papa hates it when that happens.

Been eating Som Tam - an emergency? Speaking from experience, I know how she must have felt. I left my trousers behind in the toilet cubicle of a BIG C!!

Fortunately I had already putchased new underwear and a pair of shorts.

theres too much of this going on ,,take care where you tread

Once from Kao Sok to Surat Thani on my scooter needed a pee - no petrol station or restaurant around & as road quiet pulled over to relieve myself, literally about same time taxi pulled over needing same

Then cop car stopped - conversation with him while peeing, back in taxi off he went meanwhile I was charged 500 baht - expensive to spend a penny

I'm surprised it was not a Chinese person. Not being racist but they have a history of doing it anywhere, as per previous news items from this Thai News.

It wasn't enough. A couple of thousand would have been more in order.

Probably not the best choice in wearing white trousers if you are suffering with a touch of the Thailand Trots/Bangkok Belly.

The more concerning thing is that some b**** drunk enough to mistake a fitting room for a toilet was driving.

Yes, by a two way mirror and a wall.

Apparently you know the location, and obviously the changing room and toilet.
