On the line of argument that I brought up positing that offense by Thais is reasonable and understandable but the FACT the reactions to the offense have by now been taken to quite ridiculously EXREME levels, I will add something I heard on the TNT channel today. Apparently, the names and addresses of UNDERAGE Italians have been publicized inviting who know what kinds of retribution against those individuals. Based on a videa. Not even based on any court case. DARK vigiante stuff, Of course that would be outrageous even targeted at adults as well, but against minors, it goes without saying how wrong that is. To add some of the social media rhetoric from some Thais I'm hearing has the tone that Thailand itself has been attacked by a foreign power, and the Thai lady who filmed is some kind of patriotic here, almost to the level of a war analogy. Is that not CRAZY? You see this is what I've been saying. Normal offense by Thais expected and deserved. But the extreme level the reaction this has actually taken gives an inidication as I've said before about something going on not at all flattering about modern Thai culture. Sure criticize these specific Italians, but where is the SELF criticism by Thais of Thai culture in response to these EXTREME reactions. Crickets, I suspect, but if you've got evidence of that, please post it.
