90 days online question

Featured Replies

Just applied for my yearly extension and did my 90 day reort at the same time. I was told this is the best way to reset everything for online reporting. Had a problem for nearly 2 years where I couldn't do 90 days online and my local IO said it was because there was a clash with what they had as my report date and head office. Anyway multiple calls to Imm head office and local office and couldn't get it rectified, both said its up to the other party to sort it out...what a suprise in Thailand lol. I am sure an email would have sorted it all out they must have some line of communication to get things sorted out...Anyway it finally sorted itself out somehow. Its a real hassle for us as we live a considerable distance away.

Anyway, I only did my 90 days report a month ago when I did my extension, and not (i thought) due for another report until after September. I got a reminder yesterday from HO automatic system saying I still need to report early this month, even though I did it a month ago at local IO. So pondering if I should do the online one as requested electronically or wait until the September report date I got from the local office. I know the logical thing would be to ring my IO but I doubt I would get a logical answer or result.

Anyone had something like this happen before? I am tempted to just do the one from the notification email I received to keep things in sync with HO and hopefully be able to do online reporting rather than get stuck in the twighlight zone again. Any advice appreciated

Which immigration office.

90 day reporting is unrelated to annual extensions.

True that some offices do a 90 report at time of extension as some sort of helpful gesture however IMO just confuses things.

Were you given a TM47 receipt with next due date clearly indicated?

Yeah, full deal got the TM47 stamped and filled out fully. Im not sure if they print them out when completed and entered on the sytem or if they just fill out and stamp the form and enter it on the system later. Whether the officer lodged it properly or not can't say.

In that case report next with online option using the new due date. Ignore the reminder date you were given.

You mention you are some distance from immigration.

Have you considered report via mail if online fails
