Calvin-Klein Jeans: Do your CK-Jeans still fit you, these days?

Gamma, the only chance you have of ever fitting into those girly jeans again is to create a calorie deficit. Around 80% of weight loss comes from controlling your calorie intake. The treadmill might contribute the other 20%, if that.

The best thing you can do is stay at the keyboard pounding out nonsensical topics, keep eating exactly what you eat now, but cut out one meal a day. Stick with that for a couple of weeks and the weight will start coming off all by itself. The treadmill can wait until, and if, your waistband ever catches up.

That is what many don't understand. Diet drops weight and creates a six pack with a little exercise. I exercise alot but I get ripped quick if I cut back on consumption and never get there with more exercise.

Not into gay clothing, Levi’s is a better option.

Rarely wear jeans because they are too hot but CK does have some thin versions which is the type I do wear a few times a year. My waist and weight is the same as when I was 20 and never really changes much. Easy to adjust when your are up 2 kilos and not 30 kilos. Looking around I get why many throw in the towel and accept the gut. Losing it would be an unpleasant experience and especially those first few week while the body adjusts to the calorie restriction.

Gamma, lay down a yoga mat by the PC and do 2-3 minute of crunches in total throughout the day and air squats every other day. Drop 20% of your calories and in 1 year you'll be looking fit. No easy fix that is wise and dedication is the only option.

Dear Folks,

As I recall it, I purchased a few pairs of CK-Jeans, back in the day, maybe around 1990, or before.

The great thing about these jeans is that they hugged my legs, and emphasized my high points, A-LA one of my favorite singers, Seger.....and you know the song....

For some reason, I never discarded my CK jeans, probably in the hopes that I would fit into them….sometime in the future, through sheer optimism.

The cotton quality was excellent, and good material is important to me.

This is why I am planning to buy a treadmill, if you must know. Every time I see these CK Jeans in the back of my chifferobe, armoire, or what have you, I feel such angst for time passing, and what I might have been, if my life had taken an even better trajectory than it did. If you do not know what a chifferobe might be, then please google it.

Just like you, it is now my ambition to return my waist-circumference to about 29 or 30 inches, same as it once was when I was 18.

As everyone knows, the best way to reach one’s ambition is to declare one’s goal to the world, and then work toward it.  Failure is not an option, without suffering great embarrassment, and so this declaration I am now making is part of my plan.

A good CK-quality pair of jeans, as they were first manufactured before the manufacture of them was outsourced, way back in the day, can last a very long time, and can outlast most men, just judging from the empirical evidence I have personally collected. They were not cheap, but the price was definitely worth the benefit, not to mention the look.

When I was young, back then, I had no need of vanity, since everyone could see that I just looked good.  I was lucky in the draw, and I must admit this,.. that I was blessed with good genes.

From what I have gleaned, watching old movies of the 1950s, it was mostly the girls who seemed to fret most about having dresses hanging in their closets which became too small, due to bugling bellies.

But, from my experience, I can tell you:  I am now just dying to get my body-shape back where it was when I was 17 or 18, because….The CK-Jeans, which still hang in my closet, are soft and sexy. You just cannot buy this quality, these days, at any price.

How many members on TV, today, share my angst, thoughts, and ambition, about our wearing of good-looking jeans?

If I were a movie star, then I would have plenty of help to ensure I reach my quest. And, it is not so easy for one such as I to do this on one’s own.  Just think of all the help provided to Tom Cruise when he needs to prepare for one of his film roles…for example.

Anyway, if you really want to know, this is the main reason why I am planning to invest in an expensive treadmill for my home.

Anyone here willing to join me in this interesting project, and able to document their progress?

Please share your thoughts.

There is no doubt that we can recapture our youthful look, with sufficient effort and dedication.

Best regards,

Gamma

Note:  All my friends know about my new ambition for the period September 2026 to August 2027, which will be completed before the end of our world, due to the takeover of AI, sometime in the latter part of 2027.

Before the complete takeover of AI, as predicted by a few MIT researchers, I just want to go out with a bang.

No doubt, you feel the same.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  One of my favorite songs, of all time, is this one, which often plays in my head…on any given day….most of the day…..

Go for it....!!!

We are only as sexy as we feel.

I told you last time that I bought a proper treadmill at Decathlon. Not cheap, but with a screen to watch a movie. 45 minutes🙃.

Or you invest in Ozempic or similar, costs the same as a treadmill, using no space.

Don't forget that you got lax tendons and ligaments.

So your belly might cover your belt,.

Good luck. Send us a photo next year🤡

My CK and Jordach (?) jeans have been long discarded years ago.

Nowadays it’s Tommy Bahama and good ole Levi’s.

Edited by HolmesEquivelant

Mine are a bit tight in the groin area, showing the whole world the size of my package,

sometimes it brings unwanted attention though.

Bought a pair of CK jeans in Singapore that were very soft and comfy and few years later bought pair from CK online and they were the exact opposite. So so for comfort but the denim was horrible quality and no amount of washing has softened it .

Best jeans I had and still have after 10 years plus are Armani collezioni jeans which I got for half price in a sale . These still have good colour and and comfiest pair ever had , second to those are a pair of evisu jeans which are very soft and comfy but basically type you rarely wash or you wash by hand .

Skip buying an expensive treadmill and just buy yourself a new pair of jeans . Less effort and probably cheaper 😁

I still have my Guess jeans, 3 pairs. Still fit great, 30/30. I bought them about 20 years ago from South Coast Plaza CA Guess, on sale.

These jeans are for ever.

Would you like to check if a specific model like the T900D is currently on the floor to try out at the Chiang Mai Hang Dong branch, or are you looking for an option with just a built-in tablet holder to use your own device?

Nope - stove pipe or boot cut.....

I got use to those from having horses....

The corduroy are straight cut....

Probably easier to quote it in feet rather than inches....

Quality across all manufactories is not what it was in 1990 or the 80s.

Even Levi's denim seems to wear more quickly than it used to.

My take is the actual cotton fibres have gotten weaker over the decades.

The deteriorating material quality is probably due to the manufacturing process and intentionally designing the jeans to wear out faster.

Also, most likely, the selection of available cotton has changed.

One cannot continue making endless profit increases, and stockmarket performance, without throwing quality out the window.

They are evil, manufacturers, today.

Companies are evil, these days.

It is no wonder that 25-percent of the Adult Population in the USA is on Psychiatric Drugs.

Even the drugs are getting worse, and far more poisonous, in recent decades.

We need a Nuclear Armageddon, so that we can start over from scratch, at the molecular level.

Obviously, our Evolutionary Pathway that got us here was a fallure.

THEREFORE: Wear Thine CK-Jeans, while Ye May......

(only option, now...)

Here is one consideration before I visit Decathlon:

a. I have no interest in running up hills or stadium steps as I once did 50-years ago.

b. But, I need an inclined walk, every other day, to avoid atrophy, which everyone suffers eventually.

c. So, if I never plan to use the treadmill for running or jogging, but exclusively for normal-paced walking, but wishing the same "hill-climbing" benefit, then

What is the minimum-capacity treadmill machine that might suffice?

The machine must last for 2 years, minimum.

Reliability is a must, but any unnecessary addons are not appreciated?

Any suggestions you can make, based on your experience evaluating machines, at the time you made your purchas?
