And saying Arab countries do nothing is simply wrong. Jordan has taken millions of Palestinian refugees, and Arab countries have spent billions on aid and infrastructure. I totally agree the situation in Europe is critical, but still manageable if politicians are willing to deal with it. Have requirements, education, jobs and possibilities, but also expect people to integrate and follow the same laws as everyone else. Everything becomes easier when the economy is good and there are jobs, education and healthcare available.

I have said many times Norway should have been more like Poland, UAE and Thailand in how we control immigration and what we expect from people coming in. At the same time, we opened up for immigration partly because we needed workers, including for jobs many Norwegians were no longer lining up to do. Not that different from the USA really.
