Dog Tags & Big Hot Air Balloon Lantern

I am looking for two things:

Dog tags to put on my dog's collar.

Those big lantern things that you light with fire and the heat fills up a sack and they float away. I see them streaming out of Bo Phut beach almost every night. I want some!!!!

Don't know about dog tags but have bought the paper lanterns in Maenam. Close to the traffic lights (by 7-11) there is a shop selling coconut handicrafts, wind chimes, hand made paper, etc. they have them. Also there is a big shop on the small road to the old Maenam pier selling all sorts of household things including those paper lanterns. They may even sell dog tags!

does anyone know where the nearest pet shop that can read dog micro chips. apprently i have one in my dog but i don't know anywhere on the island where i can check it. i would also like to fit my other dogsd with them

That would be Gai's Pharmacy and Grocery. Loveliest lady in Maenam is Khun Gai.

she might be, but it's neither this shop, nor does she have dog tags nor a chip reader!

the shop mentioned is 100-150 m further p the road opposite Jordan's!
