Same with me. I've done it myself and I've used an agent. Agents absolutely know how to do it right and their fee is worth it to me.

Me likewise. 85 years old and still do 90 day reporting and extensions of stay in person, accompanied by my Thai wife.

I have the funds in bank, but I am tempted to use an agent for the next extension just cause I don't want to spend the day at CW. Yes, I am lazy. Last time we had to keep running back and forth to copy things and that's with someone helping.. (good thing they have things to do at CW while you wait).

No, and why would they, there are foreigners who actually live in those far-flung provinces too.

if anything, it's more likely to cause issues with your local immigration office, if you try to use their services without following proper procedure. For example, if your address isn't on file with your local immigration office (TM30, TM47), you may not want to approach them for a CoR.

90 report is very simple process.

In fact some offices only require pp and TM47.

Do you use agent. Where was your extension stamps issued etc?

My guess is io had valid reason.

Been here long time, first on non-B visa/extensions, and then on non-O visa/extensions (support thai wife). I had never heard of visa agents until sometime this decade. Since about when have there been visa agents offering services?
