John at TVS told me that's not required and I would go with that given they would do many UK pp renewals

No brainer really. In the link to TVS that I posted earlier, the site has "Reviews"

Click on that and there are numerous specefic reviews on pp renewal. All very good.

One guy even mentioned just signing couple of forms.

I don't doubt that their agency services may well be perfectly fine when it comes to annual IMM renewals, but they clearly don't cut the mustard when it comes to UK passport renewals, based on the info you've provided.

Fact is the OP is ill and has issues even to travel from Pattaya to VSF.

What if you lived in say Burrium would you be so cocky about making trip to Bangkok for simple pp renewal.
