Not the majority, I'd say just a few.

It's to be expected, these guys are sex tourists, only having travelled from their home country to Thailand looking for a sex worker.

In conclusion, there are definitely some behaviours here that seem bizarre to me. Also some 'teacher's pets'. But then that's a cross section of society. Normally, you wouldn't engage such people in real life, unless you spend time in the places they do.

I don't spend any time sitting in bars nor being totally isolated from other foreigners in the countryside. A different mindset perhaps.

I'm sure there are quite a few of those in Thailand. Not sure how many of them would be drawn to a site like this as an activity though. I could be wrong of course.

But there are a number of people on here who seem educated, have some decent knowledge of history and the world, and seem to have a good command of English vocabulary and diction. They might be the minority, but there certainly a few of them around too.

Hate is a bit harsh. Have no respect for, more applicable.

Enjoy conversing with quite a few members. Sort of like minded and enjoy the same topics. One member I like, but, we are on opposite sides of politcal spectrum, so I avoid commenting on his political replies. Actually avoid most political threads anyway, rarely something intelligent ever discussed, just hate.

Can't say I relate to or identify with most expats, as my reason to retire here seems different. Or those few that actually live in TH.

Way too many trolls, miserable people apparently with no life or hobbies (thanks RR), and here just to stir the pot. I ignore most of them, even if they reply, mention me, as usually just dropping a hook in the water.
