Has the bloke who had the car avatar left as well - I used to like him even though he trolled me - which is water's off a duck's back to me.I really don't care. And there was that disabled bed bound person I think called Colin who flounced off years ago.

Well, BM2's 328 posts this week do sort of indicate that the "habit" was getting a bit heavy . I don't necessarily go with the accusation that this forum has lots of "old and bitter" men...... but US older ones do have more time on our hands , generally speaking. And we ain't out and about like the good old days. One thing i managed to do was get past the mid-membership combat zone ..hahaha... where i got drawn into the stupid internet warrior stuff. ( newbies and midbies take note ! ) . Fighting like third graders is really quite hilarious . (to put it kindly)

That said, it is a bit of entertainment , diminishing with excitement as most things are nowadays. This is one helluva time weez a livin' in ! ( just my opinion, folks) . Personally i managed to avoid a true addiction to these forums... but did manage to p**s off a few ole chaps .

May i suggest that BM2 stop in once in a while ...ya know, just to let us know if his heart got broke or its just another day that things suck ... or ....ain't so bad after all .

People who live in Thailand come here to AN for a host of reasons. A good many just want to take a few minutes a day having some fun, read about local issues, let off steam, or practice their own writing in the days when that ancient skill, like many others, has been replaced by technology. Think of it the equivalent of billionaires buying sports teams....a way to pass the time and create a challenge, however small. Mere multi-millionaires, sadly, cannot afford a sports team, so some find other hobbies, like posting on obscure Forums. Some are not even old and fat, waddling angrily down Bangkok or rural Sois, barking at the Moon (like the MAGAs I see).
