It will find a crack to escape eventually.

My wife would probably fry it and eat it with a duck egg.

You have now researched so much about this animal. They are utterly harmless, will not even bite; their teeth are so tiny, that they are unable to penetrate human skin with them even if they wanted t

Perhaps...but......

a. It is quite large.

b. I just put a small amount of lysergic acid diethylamide in its water dish.

Was it bigger dose than you took before this topic was made?

Giving a small lizard LSD in "its water dish"...

I always wondered how you can produce so many different - and mostley nonsense or wierd - posts.

Now finally I got the answer.

Unfortunately, you hardly possess LSD. But if so, just take the whole batch and enjoy the rest of your life.

Bye...

Not really.

However, I will tell you one thing:

This skink, my skink, seems to be borderline genius,...

For a skink, that is.

How else would a skink have its face seen round the world on TV?

"We're all a genius, but If you judge a skink by its ability to live in my bathroom, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

Everything is relative, of course.

Dear Folks,

At this very moment, I have a Common Sun Skink in one of my bathrooms.

I don’t want it to die.

But, I am afraid of it.

I have closed the bathroom door, in order that it will not escape into my bedroom.

I have heard that these are wonderful, yet ugly, creatures.

The girl that comes to my house to clean will not arrive for two more days.

Until she arrives, what should I do?

Should I feed and water it?

If this animal were to die, due to my neglect, then I probably would not forgive myself.

However, this thing is just so very ugly.

THIS one is only 1/4 the size of the one in my bathroom. My bathroom skink is HUGE, comparatively.

I don’t think I am up to the task of grabbing it with my hand, and setting it free.

Why did this skink enter my bathroom, in the first place?

My house is almost SKANK-PROOF, or so I had thought.

Any help from the forum?

Thank you so much.

Regards,

Gamma

Note:  I think the skink took a wrong turn, inadvertently, when he entered my house. I am now reading-up on these animals. And, I realize these are both harmless and helpful to have around.

Note2: I hope this never happens again.

Note3:  This one is REALLY BLACK and VERY LARGE……

This is Thailand

They will eat any cockroaches you have, pest control solved. PS put a saucer of water out.

Your skink is beautiful!

Just spray the room with a lizard repellant spray, it will find a way to leave that room within hours or days.

Already done.

75 ml should be enough.

I just hope I have enough cockroaches to keep him satisfied.
