As long Giffgaff give us enough notice so we can port our Giffgaff number over to the new provider.

How much credit did you have in your Giffgaff account, I always keep around 25 pounds, a couple of quid is not a good idea

Mine is currently at £20. 2 texts per year and I'm all set for the next 30 years.

l been doing a spot of research on this issue, most of the comments on Giffgaff X page suggesting that it's only affection guys living in China and roaming on a Chinese network.

Most of the Giffgaff customers in China are using the Giffgaff to receive OTP from they UK banks as same most of us are here doing.

If giffgaff are minded to disqualify expats living in China, Thailand or wherever on the grounds that they are using their SIM cards solely for the purpose of obtaining OTP's for their UK bank accounts, then it seems to me that they must first make amendments to paras 13.5 and 13.6 of their T&C's so as to authorise them to do this - and, equally importantly, then inform all relevant stakeholders of these amendments in accordance with section 16. To the best of my knowledge, this has not, to date, been done.

Did you read their "Fair usage policy"?

I which it states under 5 (which seems to give them a catch all...........)

as far as i know as long as you make a call or message that is chargeable on the phone every 6 months you are safe
