I would say that these are not armed Iranians Russian etc, either poachers hare coursing or criminal gangs after farm machinery cars etc, plenty of open area not heavily policed, their mistake was going near US base forget the RAF in the title it is US

Since migrants have been allowed entry on boats without proof of identity, the UK has no idea how many Iranian sleepers have been let in, or who they are. I suspect it’s only a matter of time before an atrocity succeeds. Especially as the only country to allow the bombers to carry out missions and as such a/the prime target. They really do want to make a statement about what happens if you support the USA or Israel in attacking Iran.

No action is to be taken against an Iranian man who tried to enter the Faslane nuclear submarine base earlier this year.

The 34-year-old was arrested at HM Naval Base Clyde near Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, on 19 March, along with a 31-year-old Romanian woman.

The Crown Office said it had carefully considered the case and decided there should be no further proceedings against the man.

It had previously said in March that no proceedings would be brought against the Romanian woman.

What the hell is going on....The brave farmer who called police over the terrorists at RAF Fairford says she is "100% certain" she saw 8-10 men, not just the 5 that have been arrested, adding that authorities haven't even spoken her to ask what she saw.

All five released on bail residents still cant return to their houses and Danny Tommo is still in jail for popping a boat ..we have officially gone full blown mad.

Donald Trump has weighed into the RAF Fairford terror investigation saying he is "surprised" five suspects were released on bail.

The US President made the comments hours after counter-terrorism police announced that five British men arrested over the suspected plot had been released under strict bail conditions while inquiries continue.

Detectives stressed the men remain under investigation and that the case is not closed.

The men, aged between 23 and 25, were arrested on Sunday after three suspicious vans were discovered near the Gloucestershire airbase, which is used by the US Air Force. Police later confirmed no viable explosives had been found.

Asked in the Oval Office whether the incident was linked to Iran, Trump replied: "Might be."

He then criticised the decision to release the suspects, saying: "I'm surprised that they released them. I wouldn't have done that."
