Looks like being a queit weekend,bars closed on Sat,what about sunday?

My favourite bar will be open on Saturday night, but no booze. Sunday, everything will be back to normal. Yippeeee!!

Said on the Phuket Gazette that they are asking the bars to close Saturday and sunday.

However the bar owners i talked to yesterday (saturday) hadnt been asked to close and the plethera of police who drove past didnt seem too bothered about the chang bottles on the tables...

Had a bit of trouble last night finding a bar which was open. Found one eventually; it was part of a hotel complex. Today, I'm not sure.

I had difficulties finding a place to hang out yesterday. But finally found a few on Sukhumvit. I'm not an alkie. But it's weekend, for goodness' sake.

The pubs are open here Doc. Plus I learned along time ago to always have a couple of cases of beer on reserve for just such occasions.

I hate to get caught with me shorts down, so to speak!

Found a Swiss run bar open yesterday. Apparently it was Swiss National Day or summat. He opened specially and no Swiss turned up. Anyway, the Colombian Drug Baron and the Adelaide Alkie were there.
