britmaveric Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Curious to find out how many showers per day our forum members take. Personally I seem to take 3-4 per day- humidity/heat is a killer and it seems 1hr later I need another.

Totster Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I find that I normally take a shower when I get up, before I go out, when I come in and before I go to bed......
wolf5370 Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I'm with Totster. When in LOS... One after getting up. One if I'm going out anywhere other than the shop on the corner. One each time I come in. One before bed. If no air-con, then sitting in front of 3 fans on full speed.
Harry Palmer Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 i find that once per week does just nicely thanks

350torana Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Maybe 2 or 3 , depends on the weather and if the ac is on or not . Just curoius about the word ' shower' here? For me it is a big garbage bin full of water and pouring a smaller bucket over your body. Have a shower head, but water pressure is either non-excsitent or pissweak
wolf5370 Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 My wife's aunt lives in the UK with her husband - they are both Thai. When she comes to LOS she stays with my wifes parents (her sister). There is always someone in there, and she is infamous for never taking a shower. The whole family is clean, people are taking half a dozen showers a day around her. Offering to lend her towels, soap etc. Yet she never has. It is always a matter for hushed discussions while she's out shopping. She also never brushes her teeth. Her kids both had lost their black baby teeth by 3 - coke in a baby-bottle and no Colgate! Yeauk
350torana Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I guess the aunt takes the soap dodging reference, literally
elsie Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 BC- I thought Cats don't like water? And I thought pommies don't like water too?!? Or so I heard..
bodypaul Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Haven't had a shower for ages .... Koh Samui in June was the last time !!! I am a bath man!! Once a day at least! No bath in Samui
Totster Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Hm, nobody choosing dry cleaning anymore? What's that... can of deodorant ??
rainman Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I thought of something more into the direction of a vaacum cleaner.
Spee Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Curious to find out how many showers per day our forum members take. Depends on how sweaty and stinky I get. Usually at least once a day, unless sick or something bad. But in hot and humid places like Tokyo, LOS and lots of places in the US, I take as many as I need to stay cool and smelling pleasant. As one other reply indicated, a nice shower after sex is always good, especially if you have someone else to wash. Getting down to numbers, my minimum has been as low as zero, my max has been up to 4 or 5, but typically 1 or 2.
Padkapow Guy Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Are we talking about golden showers or regular showers. TIT
