BANGKOK: -- The drafting of the new English Program (EP) course by the Office of the Private Education Commission has been completed.

The Vice Minister for Education, Mr. Piyabutr Cholwijarn, told TNA that once approved by the Education Ministry, Mr. Adisai Bodharamik, the new standardized English course would be taught in private primary and secondary schools nationwide.

The special EP course will be taught under exclusive curricular with completely diffrent methods from other courses, including separate clusters of teaching staff and classrooms.

The EP course will cost each student Bt35,000 per semester, Piyaturs said.
