i 'm wondering if immigration laws allow to enter in a country with a air-ticket whose flight leave from a near state

for instance can i go to thailand and show to custom officers a ticket from Singapore to Cochin? i 'd like visit south thailand and Malaysia by train and then in singapore take a flight to india

i think it could be a valid prove that i will be out of the kingdom within the 30days

Thanks :o

Maurizio83, According to the Thai ministry for foreign affairs website, travellers

who are desirous of entering Thailand under the 30-day visa-exemption category

are required to possess the following.

Evidence of travel from Thailand (confirmed air ticket paid in full.)

Evidence of adequate finance (10,000 Baht per person.)

In reality these things are not often checked but if you were asked

it would appear you need proof of onward travel "from Thailand".
