Passport Or Id Card For Domestic Flight ?

Hi all

It may seem like a stupid question but

Does anyone know if a Thai can travel on a domestic flight with just an ID card and no passport

I would have thought it would be ok but i just want to check if anyone has any experience.

The ID card is sufficient. My Thai wife always shows only her ID card for domestic flights in Thailand.

A Thai Govt. issued ID card is valid for foreigners also (i.e. my employer's ID card works as it is a govt. agency)

Including your driving license.
