Convert Dvd Movie To Something Small

I would like to convert them to DivX or Xvid.

I did that years ago but now I don't know anymore which program is good. Both are not protected DVDs (no ilegal things), just copied to the HD. there are the vob files. I have the codecs. But which easy software can do that in a transparent way? I need almost DVD quality.

I sometimes convert dvd movies for my psp. I use SUPER and XVID4PSP. They are both free and easy to use. However if you are doing full dvd movies i would start with XVID4PSP first. You can select the bitrate you want so your conversions will be great quality.

After installation it complains that I need to install a frame network. No idea what this is but I will search on the net.

I use DVD X Studios CloneDVD which is very effective and can convert DVD to DVD, .avi etc.

You can try AutoGK.

Xvid4PSP worked well, just it messed arround with the driver, so ATITools make a complete system freeze now.

And it separate sound and movie in the tmp folder and never make a final file.

AutoGK did not work as well.

Will try DVDShrink....
