A Fitness Machine Company Is Holding A Fund-raising Charity Walk, Contest & Celebration This Weekend.

SEARA, a fitness machine company, informed Andaman News about a fund-raising SEARA/Thaitanics Treadmill Charity Walk, contest & celebration at the IBAP Business Fair in Jungceylon, Patong, on Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st October. At their Sports stand they will have a new Life Fitness treadmill on show. The treadmill will be walked/run on by volunteers for the duration of the Business Fair, clocking up kilometers. The idea is that sponsors will pledge so many baht per kilometer clocked up on the treadmill over the two days. They are looking for sponsors to contact [email protected] stating how much you will pledge per kilometer and your maximum pledge. All money raised will go to the Phuket AIDS Foundation, arranged by ‘Thaitanics’ NGO. They are also looking for volunteers to walk on the treadmill. If you would like to do this please bring your trainers when you go.

As an added interest, they also have two rowing-machine competitions to see who can row 500m the fastest; for men and women. The competition will start at 11am on Saturday with the winner being decided at 9pm on Sunday. There will be nice prizes for each winner.

They also celebrate their 7 years of operating in Phuket, with Cake & drinks at 3pm on Sunday 21st October.
