I was on a scheduled flight that arrived at BKK airport today 29OCT at 00:10. We actually landed late 5 minutes and I was at immigration control by 00:35.

Both myself in the foreign passport channel and a Thai partner in another Thai channel were stamped in as arriving the date before 28OCT? Is this normal practice at BKK airport? Though the Thai is not concerned I was wondering if I have been shorted one days stay by mistake and if this can be corrected?

Cheers

They have followed standard procedure and you've been stamped correctly.

Standard procedure to back date your arrival? You should have been stamped in for today if your flight time was today and you arrived today - but often stamps are picked up at that hour that have not been advanced. If you had pointed it out I am sure it would have been corrected but at this point believe it would probably not be worth the effort.

Thanks for replies.

I tend to agree with Lopburi's answer. So I should have picked it up as I received my passport back and not worth the effort now.
