Long time resident of Thailand (Bangkok). I waited too long to make the Christmas/New Year reservation for the holdiay and nothing that I want is availale. Anybody know of a condo/apt in Patong area available? (Nice!) Anybody want to make some cash while they away and lease out for 7 days? If anybody knows anything let me know please.

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
