Learning Thai

Featured Replies

Anyone had any good/bad experiences with Thai teachers on Samui. I am looking for some intensive lessons with a good teacher. I've done my English teacher training and am fussy!

i am teaching thai very good but now in london he he :o

There is a thai guy called John who i supposed to be very good, I met him a couple of times and his english was excellent too. Don't know where he works from, but I know he has an advert in 'The Pub' in Bhoput as he drinks there sometimes. You could check for the advert of ask Steve (the owner of the pub) to put you in contact.

Try me old mucker nathan@teflonsamui .com

He should know of a couple of Thai teachers in Samui!

He's thinking of Jom (with an 'm') at Mind Your Language

Yes, Jom is alright. I did a course there. Very enthusiastic the guy. Can truly recommend him.

I recommend my teacher Neung who uses a tried and tested AUA taching methodology. email [email protected] Also he travels to your home or work so very easy and convienient. Good Luck

Definetly check out Jom @ Mind Your Language, based in Chaweng on the Ring Road opp Ptt Garage.

I took classes with him six months ago, like you I wanted to find the best and spent a longtime looking. He is very energetic, enthusiastic and above all gets very good results. The course was a lot of fun, I came away feeling a lot more confident understanding and speaking thai.

Unfortunately i do not have his number but he has posters all over the island and he writes a coloumn in the local community magazine - available free anywhere on the island...

Hope this helps and good luck :o
